Buy a few architecture/ home design magazines; physical magazines. Tear out the images that appeal to you and add these to a mood board.

Go online and download images of fence projects that you like. Print these out in colour. Add these to your mood board.

Visit Bunnings. Grab some colour samples and look at the free colour advice in the paint department. Grab some colour swatches. And while you’re at it, grab a Bunnings magazine. Add what you like to your mood board.

You’re well on your way to being able to communicate what sort of fence you’d like to achieve.
